Applied Bolting Technology Achieves Nadcap Accreditation for ISO/IEC 17025

Nadcap recognizes Applied Bolting Technology for its commitment to continual improvement in materials testing quality.

Applied Bolting Technology announces that its Quality Assurance Laboratory has received Nadcap reaccreditation for ISO/IEC 17025 on May 28, 2010.

The Applied Bolting QA Lab has been continuously accredited to ISO/IEC 17025 since 1998. This is the seventh time it has achieved accreditation to the rigorous requirements of this standard.

The Applied Bolting QA Lab received Nadcap accreditation for demonstrating their ongoing commitment to quality by satisfying customer requirements and industry specifications.

The fact that our QA lab has consistently been accredited with few non-conformances is a testimony to the competence of its staff and the integrity of its structure. This ensures that you can depend upon the excellence of the products and services you receive from Applied Bolting Technology Products.

Our quality meets the highest standards and stands up to the toughest scrutiny.

Mission Statement:

Applied Bolting Technology Products is a manufacturer of Direct Tension Indicating washers (DTIs). A product used in the structural bolting industry to assure the proper tension in the fastening components of bolted steel structures and thus assure the integrity of those structures.

 
It is the policy of Applied Bolting Technology Products, Inc:

  1. To design and manufacture Direct Tension Indicator products of world class quality that will assure the integrity of structural bolting applications.
  2. To use the best available materials and technology to create these products.
  3. To set the industry standard for effective customer service and application problem solving.
  4. To serve and promote bolting industry excellence.

We achieve this policy through manufacturing operations that are controlled by an ISO 9000 based quality system. Internal operations are controlled by our procedures, as are the operations performed by our vendors. These procedures are generated internally and are controlled and regularly reviewed by our Quality System.
 

Applied Bolting's QA Lab

The Applied Bolting Technology QA Lab is the crown jewel of our operation. The QA lab has been accredited to the rigorous requirements of the ISO/EIC 17025 standard for testing laboratories since 1998. All the company's product testing and certification are performed here.

The QA lab also performs contract Rotational Capacity Testing (ROCAP) and DTI Installation Verification for outside customers using one of the largest and most powerful bolt testers in North America.

The QA lab is administered by our Director of Quality Assurance, Mr. John Herr, whom you can contact at 1-800-552-1999 regarding quality issues, contract testing and technical assistance for special application DTIs.
